A Dryad Orion for Dano
« on: October 31, 2008, 12:58:00 PM »
At Mojam this year we made a bow trade with Dano.  Well he sent his bow to Jason some time ago and we finally finished his this week.

Here are some pics of the riser (sorry thought we got full length pics too)

Specs are 56" Orion Recurve, 50# @ 26", Bamboo limbs, Texas Ebony and Marblewood riser.

Kinda pretty!!

Sure hope he likes it.

Nice Mike!!!  Congrats to Dano!!!

I got a bow blank from some bloke at MoJam... It's only about half done.  Think I could trade it for one of those???

Only way he wouldn't is if he's gone completly wacko! (of course that's entirely possible, as he only has a short ways to go anyhoo   ;)  )That's a beauty, Mike.  Of course he can be pretty finicky sometimes - maybe you better send it to me first and let me do a pre-Dano check on it - shoundn't take me more than a few years -   :archer:

(You and your son do mighty pretty work.)

That's a beauty. It's good to see Dano appreciate wood and glass bows in his advanced years.  :biglaugh:

Yeah, KINDA PURTY!!! That is the understatement of the year Mike. Now I won't be worth a darn all weekend waiting for the Post Office to open.

It's great to have friends...  ;)

These Orion recurves are the sweetest recurves I have ever shot, fast and quiet and need I say pretty. Those of you that haven't tried one need to.

Beautiful isn't she ??!!!

My pictures don't do justice to Jason and Mike's work. So I'll just show the cool bow sock they sent with her, ain't she purty. This bow is SOOOO sweet. I got her tuned up today and she shoots so great and has such good manners. This is by far the best bow I have ever had the pleasure of owning. Course I am kinda biased, The Westvangs are great people that I consider good friends.

Mike she shoots great, If I still hunted she'd be deadly, lets put it that way.

I'll get some better pictures of the limbs up soon, sorry.
