First deer with new bow
« on: October 31, 2008, 09:35:00 PM »
I built this bow for this season, a little lighter poundage because I am working through some tendinitis issues. Custom Hunter, 49# @ 29". Got the first deer of the year this past Sat. My better half will can everything but the straps.
Its been a slow hunting season for me  so far. Hopefully I can find her stud now. Thanks and good luck to all for the remainding season.

That is a very nice bow, and I second the fact that she will be great with a nice glass of red wine!
Luck has nothing to do with it, just Boot leather and a GWP.

Pretty satisfying to get it done with the bow you built. Great job all around.

Good looking deer and great looking bow, I'm always jealous of you people who can make such fine instruments of death.
