I'm on blood thinners now, so I have to be careful for black and blue spots
I never wore an armguard. Now and then I would take a rap and if I took enough I would get a little blue spot, but I can't do that anymore

I saw some armguards, and one is like a stretch camo sleeve which looks like a good idea. Anyone have any experience with this or any other good armguard suggestions?

Thanks
sam

The stretch camo ones only hold your clothing compressed, not lessen a possible impact so it may not be what you need.  One of the "traditional" models I've seen around here uses a leather lace as a draw strap rather than an elastic bands. Not sure if you have to avoid or control the amount of "squeeze" it puts on you.

I have one of Mikes Hunter Armguards and I love it. It is easy to get on and off has great coverage and is fully adjustable for many different applications. Mike is a sponsor here and he is a top notch guy, his products are top shelf.

I have tried many different armguards over the years, and NONE are as comfortable as the one's sold by Mike's Archery Leather, and his price is right.  mikesarcheryleather.com

I've been very pleased with my armguard from Mike's Archery Leather as mentioned by the other guys.  Very comfortable and nicely made.

I dont hit my arm when I shoot I wear an arm guard to keep my loose sleeve out of the path of the string. I use a Jack Bowers guard...PR

I will also suggest Mike's Archery Leather. His armguards are a great design -- just about the best I have seen anywhere at any price -- and the way they adjust is simple and easy. You can adjust it so it is just right and not too tight, and keep it perfect for the season and the bulk of your sleeve, etc.
You will like Mike's craftsmanship too.

Sam, you might have Mike put a cushioned lining on one. If you hit it with your string, ther is less chance that you will bruise.

I rarely hit my arm also, but sometimes I do and when that happens, it used to take a few to raise a little blue spot, but now, just one makes a big blue spot and I'm not supposed to do that if possible to avoid. So the armguard is the answer.
I went to Mike's site and ordered one that has 2 layers of latigo leather and that should really guard the arm just fine for one or two string whacks.

Thanks again, guys
