Mike your hands look cool, I imagine you got a little wet pulling him out of there, but that's one nice buck.

Won't have to cool him down much.

A nice well placed shot

well the story goes like this---a week before i got a late start and decided to hit a stand w/easy acess--it also had not been hunted-anyhow 8:30 am i catch a movement -its a slob of a buck and he's on a mission!!angling for the opposite corner of the patch i'm hunting--i stand and give a single estrous bleat-he freezes in his tracks!then angles towards my stand--well its happening fast and he stops w/his head behind a tree w/ his vitals wide open--he's angled to come closer so i hesitate-well he starts moving only he goes sraight up the earthen dam to my right and gets out of range--stops  looks around--so in desperation i grunt --he spazzes out and runs straight away---any how i climb down and move the stand--over to the opposite corner of the lot and leave--next day i'm sitting and like clock work i spot a deer walking the top of the dam--again i bleat-down the face of the dam he comes --beats up a tree-starts my way --turns out to be a spike!!and what i saw the day before gives him a pass!!--i let it cool dow for a day--the hunt it again --shoot a smallish doe at 13 yds--now to the buck i did shoot ---8:30 am -been there since before sunrise thinking the deer are late or not coming when i catch an ear across the swampy stream bed -then a face--a doe -then a rack--here they come-then i see another deer coming hard --i can see this isn't the big boy -but a shooter just the same--now i'm trying to see the buck in the back--ahh a spike--just then the 8 and doe are at 13yrds--he sees a mock scrape i dressed --just as he sricks his nose in he looks right up[15'] at me!!!i'm thinking this gonna turn bad!!when the spike barrels in--the 8 does a 180 to block the doe-steps from behind a tree and meets a woodsman --right to the fletch!!!he went 45-50 yrds to lay in the creek!!and there ya have it!!
 thanks for listening!!
Mike
