They can be beautiful and annoying at the same time! I've decided I prefer a bow quiver for hunting. I like a small, light, easy to put on and take off type.

I picked up a returned EF quiver at 3RA and like it alot, EXCEPT, the bottom falls down pulling the broadheads from the foam and exposing them.

Well I picked up an aluminum rod at Lowes today and with some heat and pliers and a hammer, I fashioned a light weight way to keep the two pieces together.

If anyone else is having this problem you should try this fix. The aluminum rod cost me less than $3.oo. I want to wrap it with some of that handle wrap that 3RA sells, camo tape or something.

EFA offers a quiver set-up that way now to, I think it's called the Totem.

Bona, Here is the "Totem" which is one of our latest quivers. We also have a new fastening system. Either of them should resolve the issue that you mentioned. You may call or email me for more info.

Neither of these recent improvements are on the website yet, but hopefully we will be updated by the end of the month.

I have the talon I believe and I love it. A couple of times when pushing the broadhead back into the quiver the top piece moved and the broadheads came out but now I just remember to hold the top piece when I do that. (That and I made bigger slots for the broadhead by pushing them in the foam slightly off). I would trim the straps for a tighter fit but I want the quiver available for my longbow.

My Thunder Horn Lynx has a rod built in. It also is angled back to keep most of the fletching behind the limb. I never liked a quiver on a bow but I like this one.

Thank you everyone. That looks like the perfect fix for the only problem I have found with this quiver. Especially if it is adjustable. I would post pics of the fix I made for the quiver I have if I could find the gizmo that transfers from camera to computer. Will check out the site after church.

I have a basic model for hunting. I've taken mine into the rain. I would hate to take the pretty ones into bad weather.

I hope you can see how the aluminum rod is used here.

I always take the quiver off when in the stand and hang it up. I've used the great northern adjustable strap on quiver for 11 years. There is nicer looking quivers out there but I can't imagine a more functional one. Plus the foam doesn't wear out as quickly because of the rubber liner on the bottem of it. Chad
