a mouse ate my only shooting glove!!!!!!!
« on: March 05, 2007, 02:19:00 AM »
Just got home from college and i went down to get my gear together and fling a few arrows to just relax (i havnt shot at all this semester... something about graduating BLA BLA BLA) and when i grabbed my glove... which had fallen onto the floor... this is what i saw

needless to say, I was immidately pissed because its my ONLY shooting glove and i dont have enough time to order a new one from 3rivers and there arn't any decent archery shops in new jersey (near where i live) GUH....

The death warrent is out so I'll post a hero pic when i get my sweet revenge!

If you have a Rural King store you can find a nice pair of leather gloves there that will do untill you get one ordered.Trap the mouse.Resize your pic before they delete it.

Mousehunt was on TV last night. I wouldn't use it as a guide to strategies though. I would say hunting over bait is probably a good choice this time.

I would hunt him down and pin him to the floor, but like they said above, they are dangerous when cornered.

When you get him skin him out and tan the hide.  It'll make a great tab......

...good idea!

By the way, should'nt this topic be posted under the "Dangerous Game" forum instead of "Pow Wow"?  :bigsmyl:

Hey a little of the cloth hockey stick tape will work just as good as a glove. I have used this trick a couple of times when, I have either forgotten my glove or it's gotten way too wet to shoot with.....

It will work for you until tour new glove arrives, and it's only going to cost you about a buck.
make em pretty and shoot em straight.

I would be happy to send you some Yellowstone deersvin gloves if you like----and the Golden Eagle gloves work pretty well, too.

Dang mice, I had a battle with them this year, too.

FIRST... the generosity of trad gang CONTINUALLY amazes me!!!!!!! Thanks for all the offers I'm going to try the tape routine. if that does not work I'll be sending some emails.

OK... a little update on the mouse hunting... The wind was all wrong for my stand and it was blowing way to hard to be up that high anyway!

I spent all evning hunkered down in my ASAT "guy tinkering in the basement" pattern BUT i forgot to use the "gtib" cover scent that came with it... so i think the little bugger had me pegged all along!
