Hillbilly...you had me laughing my ears off! Gave me a good idea though. Carry an empty hot water bottle out with you. Sit in the blind and drink coffee. When you start to chill, pee in the bottle and put it under your jacket.

I refined that idea while collecting hand warmers in the dog park.   :D

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Chemical warmers are great...hands, feet, neck, but especially over the kidney area.  If you get the large adhesive ones like thermacare makes it will help tremendously.  Put them in a zip-top bag immediately after use. It halts the reaction and you'll be able to get more use from one warmer.  Also, can't beat hot tea or soup from a thermos every once in a while while on stand.  The hotter the better!  Oh boy, this sure gets me pumped for late season swamp hunting...I mean late season swamp suffering   ;)   happy hunting

Well in cold, snow showers NY yesterday I could have used a lot of good ideas. It was 12 and with the wind chill it was 7. I lasted sitting out in my ground blind for all of 2 1/2 hours and then called it quit. The wind for me was the killer about 6 miles per hour, but right out of the north and into my face. I had a camo mask on, but it did nothing to stop the wind. I may have to try a pop-up blind next year and or I have a 4 man camo tent.
you should see how I use to shoot
