Ummmm, is the critter already dead before I shoot it with that bow? Can I use the bow to propel a 70,000 gr (that's about 10 pounds) spear straight down on top of him?

If not, then another emphatic "NO".

"No" to question one.

Confused on question 2.  How can a bow drawn 6" farther pull lighter?

I wouldn't shoot a bow that low, let alone hunt with it.

is that one of the bows the indians shot or something? b/c if some youth was shooting a bow like that at a buck that good then they have one irresponsible parent/hunting guide. no i would never do that unless the arrow was tipped with a tranquilizer

John, I took it to mean that shooting a bow at that weight/length would shoot about the same as an arrow shot from the lighter/longer draw length bow...Mike
