300 Xtreem....I like
« on: November 26, 2008, 11:29:00 AM »
Got a chance to climb a tree this morning. Didn't see a deer. Had tree rats all over me. Last week I shot over a doe, so I was ready for redemption. The tree rat was 15 yards from my stand. I think I'm gona like these broadheads.

Benny, Did you get a pass though? It looks as if it should have been a short trailing job. That is pretty good shooting on your part.

Bout time you stopped shooting those grizzly things Curtis! Good to see you using a real mans broadhead. I didn't think that pink bow had enough energy to shoot 300gr up front.  :goldtooth:

I do have some pics of a doe shot with the 300X, I personally thought it too gross to post it. The exit hole and all the blood, tooooo much.
Glad to hear you got the sight adjusted Curtis.

Bob,

Happy Thanksgiving! Hope all is well with you and Barb. I have been working every day of the week since we were together at JC's almost two months ago, and I haven't hunted since then. I like the 300 Xtreems and probably need to get another half dozen, so go ahead and send them if they are still available. The ILF limbs look and shoot great. Thanks for doing your usual outstanding job on them. I have yet to even set up the blind, but I have another six weeks before the end of deer season, so I will get to put that and some of my other equipment to the test soon, I hope.

Take care friend,
Allan

Allan, There are still openings for the Solana Ranch hunt Dec 13 to Jan 4. I will be there with one of my employees. Got your 6 BH.

We have sold all 30 of the 300 Xtreem BH at the $22. So back to $25 and I don't have any left. Asgeir will have to get another batch ready to go.

Bob,

I would love to go to Solana Ranch and hunt with you, but I have confirmed that my son will be visiting here from Italy over that entire time, which is why I was unsure about going on the hunt earlier. If the hunt were one week later I would be there! I hate missing the opportunity to see you and spend time hunting and visiting with you, but I don't see my son much and can't stand the idea of missing half my time with him. I sure want to catch up with you on another hunt or on some other occasion in the near future.

Thanks for sending out the Xtreems. They sure are nice broadheads. No matter how good a broadhead is, it still has a long way to go before it can ever be truly worthy of the quality, beauty and performance of your bows! I love my Morrisons - all 7 of them (not including extra limbs).

Take care,
Allan
