I'd rather fight a bear than step on a snake. For some reason those little buggers about give me a heart attack when I step on them.Heck I even kill night crawlers thinking they may turn into a snake, LOL!!!!

I feel ya Mike. I feel the same way. The only good snake is a dead snake. Welcome to the gang.

Just don't step on them. I'm sure they don't enjoy that.
Congrats on your doe!

Howdy Afraid a snake - you're in the right place.

Once when I was about 10, I was walking next to my favorite fishing lake and found the world's best walking stick.  It was straight and about as long as I am tall.  Heck - I didn't even see any branches on it that I was going to have to trim.  I picked it up and was about to pose triumphantly, when it looked at me - mouth open.  I'm not sure who was more startled, me or the blacksnake (apparently *not* a walking stick after all).  The last I saw of him, he was twirling in the air *way* out over the lake.  He has probably landed by now though.

Cool name you have.
