My lil' huntin' buddy! pic

My grandson finally grew into his camo that we bought him. Still a bit small for deer huntin' this season, but I am in the market for a ground blind for spring turkey. Probably won't kill a turkey, but at least I will get him started out right! I've got a little yew stave set aside to build him a bow this winter.
 
Andrew is doing great, although there still may be a pacemaker in his future. He  is at 22# from his birth weight of 3# 13 oz. Looking forward to teaching him to shoot and watching him grow. Won't be too long until I will need some help loading deer so it's good to have a new huntin' buddy! Mike

frassettor-it was awfully hard watching him and his mom and dad leave this morning. Grandkids are a different kind of special!

Is it just me or does anyone else see the resemblance?

Put a cap and a beard on him and he'd look just like grandpa.    :archer:

Thanks guys! He is a special little fellar for sure. 2 months premature with a prediagnosed heart condition, but he is doing great. I am anxious for him to be big enough to take to the woods, but at the same time I am enjoying watching him grow. Keep him in your prayers! Mike
