George, is the first one where I heard Phil Magistro won the long distance shot when his arrow careened off the hard crust and went several hundred yards on top the snow!

That one I attended, while Blitz Cold and snowy..was a total Hoot! Gary and I had a great time riding back to Lewistown in a roll back!

Be nice to see some of these yahoos again. Gatekeeper..oh, they'll be stories..some even fit ta print on Gang!   :biglaugh:

swampbuck, we haven't got any yet....we are luring them into a nonchalant attitude.  Actually, they already taunt us readily.   The squirrel population seems stable over there...we sure haven't hurt them.    :D

One of the fellers last year got a bunch of shooting at one or two that were teasing him.

Doc The first year, while Jared and I were trying to climb a steep hill, I laid my bow against a tree only to have it slide down the hill about 75 yards. We had about 18" of snow with the top 2" being ice.

It sure was fun!

Snow snake!   :biglaugh:

I would have to leave here at four in the morning. Can I camp at the park?

Killdeer....my wife and I would loan you our living room for camping if you want to make the trip.  It will probably be warmer than a tent 8^).

Thanks George! That list of links is very helpful. I am honored by your kind offer of lodging, but wish to remain friends with your wife and you. Therefore, I won't run you out of hot water, flood your septic field, hang my sodden socks from your curtain rod and scare you with my snoring, all part and parcel with having a Killdeer in the house.

I will submit a leave request for that Saturday off,   tout de suit  and forthwith.

Actually, Killdeer, I was leafing through my geneology because you sound like one of the family.  Conincidence, though, I suspect since we hang our sodden socks from the ceiling fan.
