So, I could go out there in nothing but my blaze-camo coveralls and be legal! Feet sure would be cold, though!    :D    OK, I will go through my wardrobe and find something suitable...I am such a gurrrllll. Then I can probably go online and find out about licenses and whether I can get it to print out at home like Virginia does, and then see if my leave is approved (I put it in today) and then contact the lodgemaster and figure if I wanna get up there Friday night or hoof it in the morning.

Ah...the simple joys of hunting with stick and string!

You can have your Pa. license sent to you...takes about a week.  You can get by with a cheap Walmart orange vest and an orange toboggan to pull over a cap or hat...or just get some Fl. Orange material and make a slip-over for your regular hat.  Camo orange is acceptable too...it doesn't take much to satisfy the 250 square inch requirement.  Well...it does take 250 square inches.    :saywhat:        ;)

Got my license ordered this morning. Parsing the PA game site for regs...now I know where the term "Philadelphia Lawyer" came from! I have lots of blaze orange packed away (didn't go to camp this year) so I will dig it out after Christmas. Just waiting on official confirmation of leave approval.

Now...arrows!

Good news Killy....I'm heading over to Shawnee after lunch to check for critters.  We had a fresh snow last night so I will have a good day to locate the best spots for rabbits and squirrels.    We have 3000 acres to hunt in the park proper.

George that could be construed a conspiracy!

Killy...I've been monitoring this all along and just hoping you could get off... well, you ARE off...but I meant from work!  :)

I'm so sorry.  I still won't know due to "things" as they exist what shakes out for that Saturday... but it will be sad to not look forward to your cherubic countenance!

Back to the top for a final reminder...two weeks.
Weather has been wet here but fairly balmy.  Been seeing lots of deer tracks in several areas if anyone has buck tags or 2C doe tags.  Squirrels are liking the more brushy areas along the oak ridges at the park so that is probably where we will concentrate on the 10th.  If someone wants to bring a bag of charcoal, we also have a park grill at the pavillion for grillin' various edibles 8^).

Killdeer....Maybe we can get the guys to do a special video for you to post here.  In good taste, of course.

We will miss not having you there; perhaps another day.
