I would use the broadheads. pheasants are tough birds. I shot one with a Judo at 10yds from a 70# bow and it never even slowed down. I hit center body mass though, maybe it had enough padding there to thwart the blow. I also shot a rabbit in the head with a Judo at 20yds, he staggered then hauled his fuzzy rear somwhere into the next county at somthing near the speed of sound. I love Judos and stump shoot with them all the time and still hunt small game with them if the opportunity presents itself. But if I know I'm going for pheasants or rabbits I always have broadheads in my quiver. Just my thoughts on the subject.
