Walter Quick taken from this earth
« on: December 05, 2008, 11:43:00 PM »
It saddens me deeply to say that Walter Quick has been taken from us.
He was a great human being, family man, father and friend and will be gretaly missed by all who knew and shot with him.
There was never a time I can remember when he didn't don a big smile no matter how he felt.
Below he is shown in a picture accepting his trophy in the 2006 Muzzy shoot for Longbow.
I know that he no longer suffers from the pain he endured while here on earth.
Rest in Peace my Brother.

I had the pleasure of meeting and shooting with Walter at the Muzzy two years ago, he was very ill at that time but he never let that get in the way of him having a good time. I looked for him last year to see how he was doing but I was told that he was so sick that he wouldn't make it. Shooting with him has left a memorable impression that I will not forget I'm just glad that his pain and suffering has ended, he is in a better place now.

Yep...Walter never stopped  smiling. We talked some at the last Muzzy he attended and he told me every day he woke up made him smile. He impressed me as being rather humble, as well, and he was very pleasant to be around. I'll miss  him. And my hat is off to all of you who made sure he could make it to the Muzzy...real friends. God bless.

Walter always had a warm hand shake when we met at Suffolk Archers or Muzzy. I admired his courage and level temperament. To say that his loss pains me is an understatement. May God Bless His Family.

Great Spirit,

Our Brother comes to you as swift and straight as an arrow shot into the Sun.

Welcome him to his place at the Eternal Campfire.

We will see him again.
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

There is a fine line between Hunting, & Sitting there looking Stupid...

May The Great Spirit Guide Your Arrows..... Happy Hunting!!!
