10 Year old Son wants to shoot trad..Arrow ??

We were playing cards lastnight and a friend brought out 2 bows. One is a Pearson Superjet. The other is a Bear Alaskan. I got both bows for a case of beer.
The bear is 25#. My son has been watching me practice with my bows and they were to heavy for him. He shot the bear this morning. He wants to shoot the Bear from now on. Will 1716 arrows work for him? I have some cut for him already. All I need to do is put feathers on them. If not what do I need? He draws 24" right now...Thanks Roy

If he draws 25# at his 24" draw then 1716s will do the trick...3 4" feathers will do and play with the point weight.

Is it 25@28 or 25@24? 1716s are over spined either way, but knowing the answer will help with getting the right spine for him. Or just let him fling away for a while as stated above.

1516 Easton Jazz would work when he's ready for a little more accuracy.
