So I have been making cane arrows for a while now and have been on this site for some years and I figure I would like to share with yall some of my work.
The top arrow is stained with minwax red mohogany and tipped with a trade point i made from a circular saw blade. The feathers are goose and it is all tied in with artificial sinew. I know, not traditional, but I really hate pounding that stuff out.
The bottom one is tipped with a arrow head my friend from church found scuba diving in the river near Parris Island, SC. It is a real fishing tip so I made this arrow a footed arrow since that is probably what it came off of. I did not stain this one cause I wanted it natural looking. The splicing in the fletching was my first time doing that. It was easier than I thought.
Thanks guys for all your help through out the years and lets keep it going. I'll do a build along soon on one of these.
God bless you and God bless America.
