arrow choice how is this

This is what Im thinking what do you guys think.  50 lbs @28in is what Im shooting, I draw 27 in.  Im thinking  a 28 in 2117 with a 250 grain point.  My bow is a Martin x150.  IT was suggested a 2018 with a 125 grain point.  Am I on target with this set up.  Thanks for any replies.

You might wanna bare shaft first and see how they're gonna fly with 250 up front?

Even with a 250 grain point, the 2117 seems a little stiff for your set up, but if it flies for you, go for it.

i have shot & tested the exact setup you are talking about as long as you are shooting off the shelf. a 1916 with 125 up front is what worked the best.it will pass through deer, no problem.

Dave's right, bare shaft at a about 10 yards.
 I just bare shafted a new martin hunter at 47#
at 29in. USED 1916 2115 2016 AND 2018 I WILL USE THE 2018 WITH 125 GRANS. GOOD SHOOTING

yes 1916, or a 2018 with more weight up front(200-250)

I forgot to mention that Im shooting a elevated rest(Bear makes it.)  Not sure, but does that change anything.  If not I will go try the 2018's at 28" with 250 up front
