Fantastic.  I don't think you could ask for nicer hunt with your son, unless you could have shared the blind and had equal luck.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Congrats!!  It doesn't get any better than that. That's a day you'll recall for years to come...only the deer will grow even bigger as time passes. Selective memory will do that, but that's as it should be. What a fantastic day in the woods. You are a VERY lucky individual.

Very cool.  Deer are very easily duped by snow camo/white in my opinion, and if the hunter has a good plan, like you two did, the results can be amazing.  Congrats on a job well done!
