Quinn shooters, a little advice please.
« on: December 11, 2008, 04:17:00 PM »
I'm about to order a new Stallion. I draw 29", maybe a little more and shoot split fingers. Should I get the 60" or 62" length. I'm comcerned about finger pinch with the shorter bow.

I draw 30" and have the 60" and did not notice any problems with pinch when I shot split finger. I have since switched to three-under but not due to string pinch. I doubt you will have a problem unless you have sausage fingers  :D

Not real sure about split finger, but I draw my 60" stallion 30" with 3-under and don't have any issues or feel any stacking.

Two inches is not much difference  :D  But when in doubt (as you seem to be) I'd suggest going longer  :)  ...Van

I draw my Stallion to 29" and haven't been bothered in the least.  Great bow!

Hey Toby,
Give the Quinn's a call.  The are very pleasant people to talk with and can offer suggestions.  I draw 28" but can pull my 60 inch Stallion a lot farther back (almost to my ear) with no pinch at all.  I don't shoot like that, of course.

I don't think the 60" would pose any problems.

When in doubt, err on the longer side.  I agree with Van.

I've had a 62" Stallion and now have a 60" Comet. Personally, I prefer the 60" one. Limbs are smooth with both bows.

You wont have any problem with  a 60", but if undecided go with George and go long. I have two stallions, both 60", a #47 and a #50. No string pinch for me or my long armed buddy who draws 29&1/2 inches. They are just one of the sweetest shooting, smoothest drawing bows on the planet.
