Does Dale post on here? I am in Elkhorn, curious if he wants to share a ride.

One question about hunting with the beagles, is it unadviseable to use broadheads for the rabbits with the dogs around? I would assume it is. I have experienced some non-recovery of rabbits shooting them with blunts and am wondering what guys are doing.

I can't make it now. Found out last week that Friday starts my week long on-call at work. I can't get away with a three hour drive if I get called in.

Hopefully it turns into an annual event and I can make it next year.

I'm planning on attending the bunny romp with camera in hand so I can do a story about it for the premier issue of TradArchers' World magazine. Arrows made, bow set up, gear in place. It's going to be a weeeeee bit chilly, but well worth the cold. The only catch is that I have to pull a couple stands from some private land I hunt north of there, which means I have to roll out at about 4 in the morning.

That reminds me...I need to make lots of coffee.

Does anyone need extra disposable arrows? I've got a box of mismatched arrows I don't use. Maybe I'll bring it along just in case. I don't have tips for all of them but I'd hate to see someone losing pretty, matched arrows into the snow.

Looking forward to tomorrow. Wife is working, kids are going to Grandma's house, it's going to be a good day.
