In testing I have found both to penetrate about the same. How do you guys feel or prefer. Say Magnus 1 or Woodsman.   BILL

On soft tissue hits I agree, 6 of 1 and a half dozen of the other.  I suspect the Magnus would have an advantage over the Woodsman on a heavy bone hit, but the Woodsman is a more forgiving head and on average will leave better trails on a tissue hit.

"Pick yer poison!" as they say.

I can't, I shoot both!    :D

drawing from my experience alone for my 45# to 50# draw fast recuvres I have found the Woodsman to be top pedetor.  All I can go by is my experience.  with 60# to 65# hot recurves I have found it a wash but I believe the woodsman leaves a better blood trail in both cases.....JMHO (and experience)
