lone warf
« on: December 14, 2008, 08:23:00 AM »
Just wanted to share my new bow with you guys. I called it "lone warf" because it probably is the only warf bow in the entire 7,100 Philippine islands.I traded an airgun for this bow with a friend of mine who traded for it in another site thinking he could pull it but lucky me,he can't.It Has a Hoyt td3 handle that Bob Gordon retrofitted to accept ILF limbs, the limbs are KAP carbons ,medium limbs,46#@28" and I pull it about 54# at my 29" draw.Film dipped in deception camo.I am a longbow guy but I just cant resist a deal like this. Can anyone please tell me something about the string on this bow?Just curious.

Looks like a Mountain Muffler string.  Sold on another website.

What string  :)  I can barely see the bow.

All kidding aside, great looking bow but I can't make out the string.

It looks like a Mountain Muffler string made by PapaBull. If I'm not mistaken he is not making strings at this time.

I'm really liking this bow more the more I shoot it.Wasn't it Rod Jenkins that made the Mountain Muffler strings? Its really a quiet bow but a little heavier than I'm used to in a trad bow since i mostly shoot my longbows before but its easy to get used to it since I also shoot FITA style archery.
