Joe about that MC guy. First thing he did Saturday morning was take out that pink hat with the feathers.           :scared:          It was  right before we hit Hamburger Hill.    :readit:    He was OK though. Kept on taking out the Mozzarella and the dried salami.   :biglaugh : Joe as far as Mikey goes; he was as pert as a ruttin, buck!

Hey... Is that Chico Marx standing on the bridge in Scotts photo? Well, my wife thinks so.....

... mike ...

P.S. Skipp, my friend. I tried to represent Team Pink but your friends from NJ said I should put that hat away where no one can see it.  :p  Glad the mozzarella was a hit. Next week I'll bring some road kill.  ;)

Dave only the first drive. Hamburger Hill. It had the sun on it. Pushed a button buck around on the top and had 4 deer  run past Alex too fast for a shot. Read what I wrote on page 6.

Guys,

Wild Cat is in zone 6. There is a chance we could be shareing it with smoke pole hunters so bring something to wear in flourescent orange just to be on the safe side of things.

Another request we will ask is that if you have a "Talk About" type of walkie talkie radio please bring it along so that we can coordinate the drives easier and to also communicate better with each other. This area seems to be a "Black Hole" for cell phone usage.

I'll add more info as I get it this week.

Radios and wearin' something orange sounds like a good idea if other hunters are in the area.

glad to hear they changed it...gun hunters made it pretty hard int he late season to connect on horns.

Ok guys,

We can meet for breakfast at the Hibernia Diner Saturday morning. They are open 24 hours. The diner is just north of Rt 80 exit 37 on Green Pond Road.

I'll let you guys know what time to be there but 6 AM or a bit earlier seems right to me. Let me know what you think.

For you guys that are interested in joining us this Saturday at Wild Cat Ridge WMA it is located in Rockaway Township in Morris County.

Again there could be some Muzzle Loader hunters shareing the woods with us so I would advise wearing some sort of hunter orange while moving through the woods. In the past during this time of year there have not been many gun hunters in these woods but just to be a little safer I'd wear some orange.

If any of you have any walkie talkies such as the "Talk About" please bring it along. We can coordinate the drives better using them because cell phones just don't seem to work reliably up there.

This should be a lot of fun. So far all of the Winter Bow hunts we have done since last year have been great times with some cool people.

I've never seen a thing in the hunter's digest saying that radios are illegal to use. I read it cover to cover several times. We are just using them to let the drivers know when the standers are set up in place so they can start their drives and for safety. Besides I never saw a radio kill a deer.....has anyone?
