Use Canadian goose feathers.
Eliminates all of those problems.

When the last buffalo falls on the plains,

Leave them alone. Just dont touch them. Upon release the water will come off and they will flare back up and fly fine. I shoot snuffers and wet feathers have never made a difference. Just my experience is all. Although I make sure I have a finely tuned arrow to my bows prior to.
Furthermore, be careful what you spray on feathers. Some chemicals will react with the glue and the feathers will fall off.

I'll second the goose feathers. I made up two arrows with them for the rainy days. They stay nice all day even in heavy rain.

I wouldn't shoot broadheads at animal with wet feathers if you havent tried it before.  If you're setup isn't tuned properly the arrows fly like hell.

Tip#1   Plastic bag
Tip#2   Hairspray.....it sounds stupid, but it works

I douse my feathers in hairspray before hunting in the rain, and it works way better than all those other chemicals.  Your feathers won't look all that great, but they will fly perfect, and you can wash it out when you are done.

Get a can of no snow....spray your feathers at the beginning of season, end of worries.

Try getting a Cat Quiver. My feathers stay nice and dry in it and it's easy enough to get one out in a hurry if you need to.

Most goose feathers are either black or gray.  Not the easiest to see.  They shed water better than turkey feathers, but they don't "wear" as well as turkey feathers, i.e., they get messed up faster when hunting in heavy brush.

:campfire:

I use this powder called FLETCH-DRY. You pour some in a little plastic bag and then put your arrows into the bag so the feathers get covered. Shake off the excess because the powder will dry out a water melon. Don't breath it or get it on your hands. Your nose will feel like a desert.
Main thing is , it works pretty good for light to mod rain fall. Haven't tried it in a down pour.

No so traditional as goose feathers but "Fletch Dry" works really well.

Wet feathers can always be a problem.  I always keep a bread sack in my pack just for that problem.  Slip it over the feathers and use a clothes pin to attach to one arrow to keep it on.
