I just finished reading a great book titled A Hunter's Heart. It is a collection of essays about hunting, it gets into some very deep philosophy about why and how we hunt. I would recommend it to any one of you, it really got me thinking deeply on some more in depth ways of looking at hunting.

If you liked A Hunter's Heart you've got to read Heartsblood. Through Dave's books I've been introduced to guys like Edward Abbey, Richard Nelson and Paul Shepard who have helped me understand how I tick.  Kind of like an owner's manual of my own self being. Thank you David Petersen.

Definately a great read! Dave Petersen has many more wonderful books that can be found at  www.davidpetersenbooks.com.  My personal favorite is a Man Made of Elk, in my opinion, the finest book written on a traditional bowhunter's passion for the Wapiti. Dave is one of our finest, not only as an author but as a true conservationist. T
