I'm with my good friend bowdoc: I consider it a certain "sacrilege" not to take any hunting bow out hunting! I have one particularly beautiful bow and it's been made even more beautiful with it's hunting "scars." Everything you own will one day belong to someone else. Maybe even to be forgotten in someone's attic. Use it now. Hell, I'd shoot Wyatt Earp's "O.K. Coral" gun if I owned it even if it dropped in value by a million dollars because I did it-I'd just HAVE to!
