OK, I am sitting in a chair doing beadwork. I look for the scissors. I uncover stuff that is three years old that I put in a Safe Place for later. Then I find the piece of paper with my TSP PIN on it that they sent me because I forgot it, and then I lost the paper. I put it in a safe place and look for...what was it? Oh, scissors. I go through the pile of detritus on the desk.
AH! Victory!
There are the scissors, right where I left them!

Where's my beadwork?
Actually, it has gotten to the point that there is nowhere to do anything, because everywhere has gotten all clogged up with stuff.

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Too funny.. I have bought archery "stuff" because I had forgotten that I already had purchased the same stuff to replenish what I had used...

I always say, "well at least I have extra"...

Too much stuff!!!

You're asking Cody Roiter for his mailing addres so you can send it all to him...

"Then I find the piece of paper with my TSP PIN on it that they sent me because I forgot it, and then I lost the paper. I put it in a safe place and look for...what was it?"

Kill, I bet there ain't many that know what you are talking about on this one.  I do and have done that very same thing!

I am in the same boat.  What is really bad is when you accuse the wife of putting it up and find out you misplaced it then you have to eat your own words.

This is kinda how "The Trad Brain" works. Well, mine at least.....    So, you know you have too much stuff when.......

* Need to fletch a half dozen arrow shafts. Then you gotta buy 100 feathers!

* Check out "Quivers & Leather Archery Goods" every day. Need to buy one of EVERY TYPE of quiver known to man. (Just because it's $2 less than a catalog price)

* Look at "Traditional Bows" and say outloud (So your wife can hear ya) "I don't need that!" And hope you get some brownie points for the next time you call 3 Rivers Archery Supply.

Cody, If it makes you feel any better I put a set of Morrison td limbs someplace and can't find them so, they must be in a pretty darn safe place!  Ben
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!

I've discovered that the problem is that I need a bigger house with bigger rooms so the stuff can be spread out without being pile up by other stuff. That way I can scan the rooms and see the stuff I'm looking for. Its not us guys/gals, its the lack of spaces fault!  :D

I have 2 "Man Caves" in my basement and still don't have enough room.

For clarification *TSP*(aka Thrift Savings plan) is the federal governments version of the 401k. I understand why Killie hasn't looked at because as everyone knows , unless you were real lucky, it ain't good news...
