I can't figure out how some women think. I took my wife to the Baltimore Bowman shoot last year. She decided she would like to try traditional archery. She has no upper body strength. I got her a 62" 20# Bear Cub for around $30. She was shooting pretty good with it. I saw OL's bow and thought I would get it for her for Christmas. This is what she said.
I told her, this was a one of a kind bow, she said, "I only need one bow"!
I told her it was very fast, she said, "I don't care how fast a bow is"!
Then she said, "How much is it?". I said it is cheap, only $550 plus shipping! She said, "Are you crazy, how much did you spend on the bow I already have?. I said $30, she said "thats all the bow I need".
Then she said, "How much were those bows you have?". I said, are the kids coming over for Christmas dinner or are we going to their house? She said they are coming to our house.
Thank God she doesn't know how much my other bows were. I think I will have to take that to my grave!
Quick thinking with the Christmas dinner question extended my traditional bow buying for a little while longer!
Who can figure out such wrong headed thinking!
