Well I see pictures out here already so I guess John won't mind me forwarding the pictures he sent to me. Snag if you want pictures of the bow let me know and I will email them to you. I can't figure out how to get pictures in a thread here.

The only options given to me were length and wood. Right now you can only get 64" or 66" and the exotic woods that are available in their other bows. Later in the year there will be other lengths available. I ordered a 64" 55# bacote. I also am having a laced leather grip put on mine. I have kept in touch with John for a long time as to when the one piece was coming out. I was also told the one piece performance will match their takedown. I will let John Havard announce the price, since it is not posted on his site yet.

Was told only a foot or two per second faster, but it is quieter...

They have their act together.  They even sent me a Christmas card this year...now that's customer appreciation!

I just got my 3-piece in time for Christmas - if it's quieter, you're not gonna hear ANYTHING - because my 3-piece is easily the quietest bow I've ever shot.  Not much more than a whisper on release, especially with heavy arrows.

Copperhead, I'm 5'5" and I just got a 58" model for just those reasons.  It's very smooth at my draw and is absolutely blistering fast, even with the short limbs.  I think Dan at A&H told me there's only like 9-10 FPS difference between the 66" limbs and the 58" limbs.  At almost a fott difference in length I think it's well worth the tradeoff - only thing is, the 58" limbs supposedly start to stack up at a draw past 28".

Here is the email I got from Larry today. Hopefully he won't mind it on here:

Bjorn,
Right now are making the 64" / 66" model....hopefully we can have the
tooling finished for the 56" / 58"  in January and then the
60" / 62"  in February .... we'll let  you know when we have something.

Thanks,
Larry

I have no idea how that translates to delivery times; but I went ahead and ordered a 64" bow anyway.

When I'm not working on new R&D designs I focus on objective testing of our bows.  The fact that these new 1P bows perform equally well with our 3PTD bows in 64" and 66" lengths didn't surprise me because they were designed to do that.  What blew me away was how smooth they were.  I'm more of a black-and-white measurement kind of guy.  But subjective feel is important to me too since I also shoot a lot of bows.  These new 1P bows are very smooth and quiet.  Schwing!

I can't wait to get mine John. Good luck with this new one. I think you are going to get a lot of orders. A lot of people have been waiting for a one piece.

Any idea on the mass weight of these 1 piece bows?  Probably have to put a few sinkers on it to keep it from floating away  :)
