My Colt Trophy Mark I is 66" I believe.  I think my Bear Tamerlane is even longer.  Both are target bows, but incredibly comfortable and smooth.  They were Olympians in their day!  Now the shooters seem to have gone to metal risers and takedown limbs.  May be more efficient but no way are they more elegant!

I have an American Cheetah, 64" that I really like.  Look at the big auction site for older Ben Pearson Palomino or Javalina @ 66".  They are great shooters that can be had for not much cash.

If you cut up your wife's french leather purse to make a tab, does that make you a redneck?

Woolly Bear:  60 inches isn't a long recurve; it's about a mid-range length recurve, probably about the best length for a 28-inch draw.  On the other hand 52 inches is a short recurve, 48-inches even shorter and about as short as they get.

Lots of bows made in the 50s are in the 58-62-inch range.  Most bowyers nowadays offer recurves longer than 60 inches as well.  Fairly easy to find a one-piece recurve in 62 inches.  Not as many in 64 inches.  In a three-piece takedown, it's pretty easy to find 66-inch lengths and even a few 68 inchers.  Good luck in your quest.

Don't forget the Warf/ILF route.  You can easily make a 61"-70" bow and not break the bank.

I traded a 60" Kota Killum recurve. That was a very nice bow, pretty and a shooter.
