Actually you'll be getting the best hunting partner ever. You'll just need to invest a lot of yourself into him/her and your future is made.

I can't wait for my little guy to make his first real hunt with me.

For this year though hope to hunt with some of the northeast Trad Gangers this year and a few from elsewhere hopefully will be here in May to harass the turkeys with me.

My New Years resolution is to hunt more in 2009, so Lord willing I'll start with a Wensel pig gig with my Utah buddy Sean in Feb, some GA hogs and turkeys in the spring with my TBG buddies, some OH and PA spring turkeys with my son on some new properties that we just got access on, some Utah elk hunting for my son on the PBS youth hunt in mid August if he is selected, possibly alligator hunting in Florida in late August or early September with my buddy Terry if we draw tags again, some elk, mule deer and antelope hunting in either Montana or Wyoming in late September depending on the draw, and moose hunting in Wyoming in late September or early October with my buddy Terry if either or both of us draw tags there.  Oh yeah, then I'll hunt whitetails in GA, NC, OH and PA to finish out the year.  Might be a busy year........

Would like to head south for a hog hunt this winter. Have aleady laid plans for Pheasants in either Iowa or S.D. in the fall.

starting with pig hunt last week of Jan in Texas. Pig hunt with friends in February.  Then Turkeys in the spring here and OK (we hope)  then a summer of building bows.  Sept we are in Idaho for a couple of weeks chasing elk.  Hopefully Rusty (trashwood) will be recovered from heart surgery and be able to join us.  Then back to Texas to chase whitetails and pigs.

Not much going on this year.  LOL

God willing, evey chance I get. Deer, bear, pigs what ever comes up. Never know when you won't be able to go again.

You will love Alberta.. I flew into Edmonton this past May to bear hunt. I sat next to two guys on the plane that had been to Alberta the past three years to hunt deer. It is a deer paradise. Beautiful country.

In March to the west Texas/Mexican border (I'm staying in the USA) to chase Javelina then in May back to Prince George,British Columbia to spot n stalk black bears.. I have a weakness for black bears! Thank the Lord I don't have to choose between them and deer...

Spring Turkey here in MI, and then it is a long wait for Whitetails in the fall.  Funds are not going to allow much else as I have a bow on order.  Will be looking at a unguided mule deer/whitetail hunt in the grass lands of ND hopefully in 2010.
