Stories, photos, where to start.......
After a bit of wondering if Hunter was going to make it and when we were going to leave, we ended up leaving at right about the time had originally planned, with Hunter saying he was fine and his fever going down.......(I must have asked him a hundred times if he was ok this weekend, as I know others did, he always said he was ok. Got home last night and his temp was over 100, this morning it's back to normal....)
We arrived at Shawn's four hours later, walked in the back door and it was like seeing family again, Shawn and Cindy, Curt and Cade, (great to se him at his first JLMBH!!), and the special guest, Doug. I knew, as I think we all did through this site, that Doug is just plain a good guy, and this weekend did nothing but reinforce that for me. After some small talk we sat down to a tasty boiled dinner,(Thanks Cindy, I haven't had that in a while....) After dinner it was off to bed, knowing that fellow bunny hunters would start arriving pretty early the next morning.
Next morning we were up bright and early, and sure enough at 6:45 I look out into the backyard and in pulls Mikey with his now famous "Gong" target, which he immediately begins to assemble and ready for the "kids".....(I think we all became "kids" at some point during the weekend just so we could shoot at it!!!!!)
More will follow..........along with some pics
