Brian, Glad you're bringing the V-archery LB, mine won't be ready by then but at least I'll get to try yours...

I'll be bringing my TD Schafer recurve with me and my buddy is bringing his Northern Mist Td longbow.

This is our first bunny hunt and we are EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup, everything is shaping up nicely. To all who are posting don't for get to read pg. 11 some great donations ya should be aware of!! I have another as well, I am donating a 1966 Bear Polar that is in nice shape but has a very slight delam. on the belly of one limb, the best part is the winner will get a complete re-finish by droptine59(Rich Lopez) his work is impeccable!! Check him out in the sponsor classifieds. It is a prize valued between $150 and $200. I cannot thank Rich enough!! This bow is 48#s and a great shooter now, but after he is done with it, ya may just want to hang it on the wall as it will be beautiful!!! Things are moving along perfectly. I believe we now have close last years count, maybe a bit shy but we will get there. I am gonna take time out from sanding and painting to do some arrows for the table and I have several other real nice items as well!! Let try and do at least $2500 for the kids again!! That would be awesome!! We may even kill more than 17 bunnies but I doubt it!! Although we never thought we would kill more than 07(16 bunnies) and we did in 08' so lets try!! I am off to take a little walk with Ben the beagle and see what we can kick out!! OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Shawn

Chuck Damon had 17 shots at deer this year, I believe he killed a bunny with the bow though. He killed one deer by the way. 17 shots!!! I am glad Chuckster reminded me, we again will auction the JLMBH bow and the winner keeps it for a year and brings it back to next years hunt! I just got back from my walk with Ben, man he is getting old, but he did run a couple, I think he got lapped by one.

I managed 3 shots and we saw 10-12 bunnies. I was only out there 25 minutes, so we have lots of bunnies!! I also made a boo-boo it is a Bear Alaskan, not a Polar, but a real nice bow!! Lets hope the kids do as well when we take them to hunt. I have a spot that the last few guys still here last year hunted, down by the old school, it is literally crawling with bunnies. I saw 30 in there one day last week right before a snow storm. We are gonna have the kids hunt that this year! That calls for an->>>-------> OOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Unfortunately I didnt get to hunt as much as I wanted with the JLMBH bow. I am still trying to master the trad art as you seen in shawns last post.So i stuck with the arapaho. I did kill two deer I'm sure just never found one.All the rest were clean misses UGH. But the good news is I got alot of use out of my other prize. Sorry no pics!!!!
