Take a bow, Dave.

I don't think I kept the one of your eye. It's too gory for the kids, anyway.

Nothing but a scatch here and there Kathy.......(don't want to scare the new guys off    )

Shawn does have the biggest, thickest, meanest multi flora rose bushes that I have ever seen, which is also why there are soooooo many rabbits there!

The youth hunt is up to the age 16, they still hunt with us the rest of the time, but we do this one for just the kids. Only  a few adults attend this one. Me,Damon,Jamie,Curt and David, maybe one or two more we do not carry bows only the kids. I have two great spots for them this year, so lets hope they kill one. Hex heads and blunts seem the best to me, I really like a plain old blunt. things are coming together nicely. Stay tuned for a great raffle prize. I will post it later this afternoon!! OOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Shawn

Im leaning towards regular blunts after trying a hex head for the first time yesterday....only because the regular blunts seem to penetrate better and keep the arrow in em, facilitating recovery. Besides, I cant spend the whole weekend running down bunnies for Terry.  :smileystooges:

I'm a plain old glue-on 125gr. blunt fan myself   :knothead:

I bought a bag of 100 from 3Rivers about 5 years ago and I've still got 2-3 dozen of them left   :bigsmyl:
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

Dang, Ishi I was counting on you for the bunny swan dives! You are a master at it.
I used plain old blunts yesterday and shot right through one without even slowing him down. Any head that doesn't have a clean profile will hang up on the brush. Still don't know how Guru got a shot through the brush. I had a shot at a bunny about 10 yards into a thicket. My arrow hit about 47 branches before finally getting to the rabbit.

The kids hunt,is just for the little guys really...like Shawn said 15 and under...it gives them a chance to do what "daddy" does at a much esier pace and without walking 5 miles.

Older kids that are big enough to walk with us will get plenty of action!!

Just lucky Terry    ;)

I would think it would be mandatory for the kids to have on a flo. orange vest.

Just to show how much orange is expected...
I know its is easy to forget(like I did yesterday), but it makes a HUGE difference in the thick stuff.
Of course, Im expecting Mikey to show up in hot pink from head to toe...

Last year.

Man guys the more I read the more I hope I can make it. My daughter will be having surgery the week before so as long as everything goes well I should be able to make the journey. Just incase I can't make it I'll be sure to get my raffle and airfare donation in the mail to shawn as soon as it's ready. Skippy
