tips up or down?

For some reason, most pictures I've seen of horizontal bow racks, the bow tips are pointed down.  For those of you that store your bows horizontally, do you point the tips toward the ground or the ceiling?

For my unstrung longbows, tips down.
For unstrung recurves, tips down.
For a strung recurve, tips up. I hang it by the string.
I never leave a longbow strung.
