Jim builds one of the best bows out there! I have owned three of them and all great shooters with plenty of pep and eye candy, very quiet and dead in the hand.

On top of all that, great service to boot. If you have a chance to pick one up jump on it you wont be disapointed. Just my .02 worth.

My dad has a moab and I'd say they don't get much better than that if that's your type of bow. I'm sure the Thunderstick 3 is great too.

Owned a TS III before it was stolen out of my truck.  Good shooter and smooth.  Replaced it with a MOAB, a great shooter.  TS III is a good bow.  Jim is a class act and makes a very good bow.

How would you compare the TSIII to a Martin Savannah or Vision of equal draw? Those are nice bows too.
thanks

Jim Reynolds makes one of the best bunch of bows out there. They are all good shooters.Best hybrid for the money is his MAG as far as I'm concerned.  What would you rather have a Custom or a Martin?

I guess I'm destined for a T Stick III. I really appreciate your help doing something I know I should do anyway.

Thanks

If you want it before hunting season this coming fall, order it now.I talked to him about 2 weeks ago about ordering one.He said it would be about a 4 to 6 months waiting period. They are sweet shooting bows. And reasonably priced to.

Check out Bobs Gun and Tackle web-site. They are near me in Hastings and have a few Thundersticks in stock with a wide range of draw weights and lengths. Best to e-mail or call them.
Just one more step please!

I've never shot a III or a MOAB, but my Thunderstick Mag is a smooth and flat shooter.  I test-shot the bow at the Iowa Traditional Bowhunters Society Memorial Day Rendezvous where Barefoot Tom had one for sale.  I shot OVER a 3-D deer at about 20 yards the bow shot so flat.  I let my friend try it out, too, with the same results--shot over the top.  Another friend tested it, and all 3 of us shot over the target.  None of us were expecting such performance.  I couldn't pass up that kind of performance so I bought the bow.  I would assume all of Jim's bows are great performers.
