New High Noon Hunter Quiver.
« on: January 02, 2009, 02:44:00 PM »
Got a new quiver for Christmas from my wife.  (She's the greatest-btw)  It's a High Noon Hunter super deluxe.  Bobby is a great Christian brother and does excellent work.  Hopefully he'll be a sponsor here soon.   http://www.geocities.com/highnoonhunter/quivers2.html

That's really nice. I've looked at those types of quivers but haven't seen one on someone. Could you show a pic of how to wear it? Are they bulkey in the woods?

Thanks.

My buddy has made some of that style for years. I have a larger one the way he designed it and then one I customized much smaller that holds 4 arrows.

You can just ease the point up to clear the "cup" at the bottom, and out it slides. It slips around to a horizontal position to traverse heavy brush.

Puttin a sharp broadhead back is easy, slide it around, slip the fletch up inside and then OBSERVE your head as you carefly slip it back into the "cup."

The ones I have aren't as "stylized" as the one above, with the cutouts on the "cups" and such, and the stick is fatter...(1 1/2") but basically the same functionally! I love mine!
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

I'll try to post some pics with the quiver on tomorrow.  I love the thing so far.  I'm still finding which way I like best to wear it.  Also, here's the correct link for Bobby's site:  http://www.hnhleatherworks.com/   I think the other one I posted is an older one.

I had no idea that they were so versitile. Now I really want one...lol So I'm presuming that you can lift the arrow out of the base and slide the fletching through the top with little movement and that kind of thing, right? That's called a "cat quiver", right? Yep, I want one...lol

You guys have to stop showing this really cool stuff, I'm gonna go broke, and I'm gonna have to start wearing a bib...lol

I just ordered mine a few days ago. I think it will be just what I've been looking for in a back quiver. Should be cool on the back in the heat of the summer.

Yes and you can shove them back in fletching first also if the fleece clinch isn't pulled shut. They will also pull out with the fleece clinch pulled shut.
