BW PSA string

I have a BW 56" PSA on order and wonder what current PSA owners are using as far as a string. are you using the factory D97 string or something custom. I have always been a fan of 450++ myself have found it to be quieter most of the time than D97.

I always use the BW string and love it, but that 450 stuff may be your way to go if quieter. Noise is always a common complaint about their bows, but I never had problems. I'm using the 450 on a couple longbows (non-BW) and it is good stuff...and quiet.

Im using a d97 6 strand, loops padded to 14 strands, 2 cat wiskers cut in half and the halfs tied on at 12" and 17" from tips on a 62" PSA V 53#. Just put this setup on about 300 arrows ago and it is the quietest the bow has ever been. Will be watching the thin string for durability as time goes on. if i have a problem i will go up to 8 strands.
The thin string has given me a jump in preformance but the main benafit is how quiet the bow is now.

D-97 for me. I would like to try a thinner string to see what everyone's talking about, but I have 2 new 12-strand strings that I will shoot for now.

It doesn't matter how or what you shoot, as long as you hit your target.

I have a 56" SA III with a Widow D97 string with Bowhush and Hushpuppies. And it is not at all noisy. (You ought to order a D97 string with 4 or 6 strands!)

I have 3 Black Widows and a G-String made by Bobby Graham is the only string you'll see on them and, D-97 is the material of choice for me. I've tried a bunch of others but just like it best. as for strands.....I tried a 6 strand D-97 just today and can't complain. I am gonna run some chrono test with the different strands just 'cause I'm curious and I'll also try some sort of noise compairison. you do have to keep in mind...a persons release has a lot to do with noise. I've seen two different shooters shoot the same bow/arrow and it make an entirely different noise from each shooter. I'm thinking it's how you grip and release the string.

I recieved my 6 stand D-97 for my 58"PSA from Mr. Graham. I believe noise is very close to the same. But I had to drop 50grains up front to get my arrows to bareshaft again. They are built top notch. Highly recommend. Look him up in the sponsors. L
