is the ashby head as sharp as the silverflames right out of the package?
do they hold an edge as long as the silverflame?

those silverflames are sure nice, If my loan at the bank goes thru I might be able to swing it to get 3, if not i guess i will use my magnus heads and have to sharpen them razor sharp, It will take me a while to do it but I think I can squeeze out 30 minutes to do 6,

Hey Fellers,
I know the Ashby heads are very sharp out of the package, never had a Silverflame to compare it to though. As far as edge holding, they do very well. I have killed numerous hogs with one and unless I blow through a shoulder or a spine they need very little care. When I do hit heavy bone they touch up easily. Thats about all I can say about that...oh, and they penetrate like they are forged from depleted uranium.
