No Squirrel Is Safe With The Arrow Master!
« on: January 08, 2009, 04:44:00 PM »
I've been using Rod Jenkin's quiver the last 3 years and noticed I'm having more fun with the extra fire power. When I only had 4 or 5 arrows in a bowquiver it was fine for big game, but I was reluctant to shoot at small game, coyotes etc. Dean Torges is always talking about the joy of small game hunting and I have to agree with him.  :)

Sure, but at 70#, aren't you afraid of being underbowed?  :D

Denny what kind of arrows are you shooting at 'em?  I love squirel hunting, but I'm afraid to shoot a carbon arrow for fear of loosing them.

I always carry more small game arrows than big game arrows. I may not get a shot at a deer very often but I get plenty of shots at the smaller critters.

Nice pic.

An arrowmaster quiver made Denny able to hit small game??? Man!  I knew Rod was good, but this is approaching ludicrous!!!

Jon, I use hex blunts on good arrows for ground shots and sure thing bounce backs. I also carry some old mixed batch one ways for the more challenging shots. :)  I usually mahe up steel blunts with a blade glued into a slot on the front similar to Dean's arrows.  :)

EricW, Like JoeM mentioned it says Masters Of The Barebow and my name. We had one made for each of the shooters that donated their time to make MBB1,2&3 possible. The cocobola kind of matches the piece in the bow riser.

Curtis, The quiver gave me fire power, but Rod's coaching made it a lot more dangerous for the local squirrels.  :)

Arwin, Darryl and I are going to be speakers there. We are terrified! Should be good for a laugh though. We will have some video playing that should help get us through. We'll be helping out at the Widow booth also. Look forward to seeing you there too.

Jason, I shot the squirrel in Nov while walking into a treestand. When I cleaned out my camera I saw it and thought about how much more hunting I got in with the extra capacity quiver - used to use a bowquiver.

Great quivers, I bought mine after reading your review and seeing the pics...nice to have arrows not rattle and keep the fletchings out of the elements. Plus they are a breeze to hang by your stand.

Hope to meet you and Darryl at Kzoo. I about fell outta my chair at Elm Hall this past summer when Darryl walked up and started talking to the group I was in...super nice guy!
