Have to dry clean it though...

They are well made, I have the pants, they are heavy but should last a lifetime.

So they are close enough in quality that Day One ($250 less for a top and bottom wool combo) is the better $ for $ buy?

I have both the day one and the gw. I would definitely go with the day one. You get all of the options and pockets without paying extra for them. The GW stuff is excellent as well, but the prices are ridiculous.

I just got the Day One Wool last week and it is really nice clothing. Only thing I wish is that the pants came with suspender buttons.

I think if you couple the quality with the service you get with GWW, it is a way better value. Day one has a lot of issues with sizing & delivery time, GWW does not. Jeff`s customer service & attention to detail puts his stuff head & shoulders above Day One, IMO. I have dealt with each & would recommend(and have) GreyWolf to anyone.

I have just ended my first year with Day One wool in ASAT as opposed to Sleeping Indian and I am very happy withe the Day One.  I had 0 issuses with the sizing or delivery times.  I think it is the best value in wool hunting clothing right now.

I also have a set of Wolfskin in Predator Green and it is very nice too.  I use it in the early season and for turkeys.

I don't have any experience with the wool, but I've had some Day One fleece bibs and a vest that have been hunted hard for 15 years and still going strong.

If you calculate the actual cost of the wool from DO vs GW and figure in the cost of each additional option from GW compared to getting them all with the standard garment from DO, the GW cost is really steep and the DO ends up being half or less (depending on GW options) in most cases.

Have been wearing Day one bibs and vest in wool this year and have no complaints. No they aren't a custom fit cut but I don't need custom fit to hunt and the cost is right also. Gary has always treated me fairly also.

Hey Guys

I have wore the day one alot this year, and have never been cold yet. I can sit in a tree stand for along time. The price is alot easier on the wallet then the GW. There real keepers in my book!!!

I really like the design on the Day 1 pull over with the binocular holder, high back collar, and the hand warm pouch.  I use it all fall until it gets real cold then I switch to my KOM wool which is heavier...Doc
