Dave, I hear ya! I'm looking at Sunny Skys, about 65 degrees...Shooting bows in the back yard, grilling venison burgers for lunch on the Weber, and thinking of chasing pigs.
Pork, Oysters, and Beer...the Holy Trinity (Anthony Bourdain).

Come javelina/hog hunting with us in Texas. I just had two cancellations. Cheap and fun. That's why we call them Cabin Fever Bowhunts. BW

It could be worse, you could be holed up with someone who practiced on their turkey calls all the time.    :saywhat:

Unless the snow gets waist deep I go outside as much as I can.  Actually, we have had little to no snow so far this winter.

Cabin fever is driving me nuts this year!!! I usually spend lots of time shooting in my shop, and just tinkering around in it. But this year I am building a new house for myself, and my shop has been moved onto the new lot, 18 miles away. Makes for some long boring evenings without it.

No better time than to make up some wooden arrows for the 3-D range and next hunting season. Its also a good time to go a stumping in your deer woods.  The leaves are gone and its easy to find trails, rubs, ambush points, etc.  (That is if you live in N.C. like I do!)

We were able to get an indoor trad bowhunter league started this year. More fun than I thought and will make us better hunters.. Then there is the NFL until Feb 1st,, then to TX to chase Javelina.

As always building arrows,, practice with the bow.

Cure for cabin fever ? Build a cabin of course ! Soon as the last hunting day passes, the grandson and I are starting a cabin. Well, he's 7 , so it most likely me building a cabin. LOL.

I press my face against the house windows and lick the glass. Then I climb the walls and throw myself to the floor.  :jumper:

LOL! Stump shooting, ice fishing, small game hunting and scouting.
Just one more step please!

Outdoor and indoor archery leagues and cracken coyotes with the 218Bee. Make sure you lube your arrows or you can't get them out when frozen. The only good thing about a long nasty cold winter is looking foward to spring shed and Turkey hunting.
