$10.07...3 hours...- 6 outside

Its the last day of archery season here in IL and way too cold for me. I bought 4 pcs. of 8' 1x3 pine and 2 36" dowels,thus the $10.07..I fired up the table saw and 3 hours later this is what I ended up with...

Looks good....but you need to turn that one bow around so's they all are facin' the same direction!    :biglaugh:

The one on top is a Darton Executive target bow. The bow that is backwards is my sons. He likes the coin showing,says its cool  :)  .

Pine is cheap..$2.17 for 8' board. All 4 were 8.69 and the dowels were only .69 each..

Ok, I have a stupid question.  How are the arrows held?  I though maybe there were holes drilled through the top but then I the arrows alternat point up and point down.  I have a rack I made in high school but it's such a pain to get the arrows out.  I drilled holes through to top (my board was laid flat on top).  Problem you have to slide the arrows all the way up and out.  If you mount the rack too high on the wall the arrow hits the ceiling before you get it out.
