Mom with two fuzz balls!

I can't wait till they grow up.

It is good to see a sow with two healthy looking cubs. I have been seeing a high concentration of color phase bears in this area, almost to the point I am surprised when I get a photo of a black colored bear

In our part of Georgia our deer are relatively small.  No good pictures until about 2 weeks ago. Then got this wide 8 point.

Followed by this better buck....

Then fell out of the chair when I saw this fellow!  Please Santa, I want an early Christmas this year....

Did my weekly check today, and was surprised to see this 7 point still in velvet. Three other smaller bucks had lost theirs.

Been seeing this bony old crippled up doe all summer in my hunting area. Finally got her picture. I think I'm going to put a priority on ending her misery this year in lieu of hunting a buck.

She walked past the camera.....

But her curiosity got the better of her.....

I had a great time in Idaho this last week with Weitas Creek Outfitters.  Ted, you missed a heck of a week with all the Bears!  Unfortunately I had one shot and the Bear won.  He'll be OK, Gary says.  If I can only have it back!  I had another Wolf encounter as well!  Two trips, 5 Gray Wolves in bow range!  What a rush!  Here's a few pics of the critters.  I just love this cam!  Enjoy everyone!

This bait was 200 yards from camp!  One collared dog.  Notice them looking up towards camp!

These critters were busted removing sticks to uncover the bait!  Gary!  We need bigger logs!

I saw this Alpha the last morning sit!  He half circled me and didn't come in for a shot.  I picked up the cam 30 minutes after they left!

This Bear I never saw.  He's still out there!

This one too!  I called him "Patch"

Two medium rare and a borderline medium- not too shabby for South Carolina sandy soil.

we've got one that's 24 inches wide, RC but I can't get that joker on film....

I'd take that last one just cause of his body size!
