I know nothing about them. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thank you.

I have the samick lightning and though it isn't a custom recurve, it is a well made production recurve. It shoots well, is well made, and was well priced for my first recurve shooters. I bought mine off of **** last year and was a great steal at $90.
I am very happy with my Samick. They are well known for making the bows for many Olympic teams across the planet.

I have a Samick Spirit II and it shoots great.  Especially for the price.

Just got a Samick/Chiron Volcano which is as pretty as all I own but my Kota, and shoots as well as any.  Given the price, I was pleasantly surprised.  Will probably pick up a Samick TD sometime in the future...
