I'm going elk hunting with Eagle Spirit Outfitters in Colorado. Then I'll chase deer and turkey around here in WI

I put in for leave, and it is approved, for my hunt in the first three weeks of November.

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Good for you killie.

For me. Lots. SCOUTING. And hitting it hard, planning GPS routes. Buying a local plant guide and am going to try and learn to identify all the deer forage in my area. Going to work on my stalking, patterning, and photography skills on local park deer. Increasing accuracy, bowfishing harder, and learning flint knapping. Making wood arrows for squirrels. Maybe finding a pig lease locally for the off season.

Turkey and deer here in Ga and a 2 week deer hunt in Gryaling/Mio, Mi in Oct.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!
