« on: January 20, 2009, 08:35:00 AM »
Called Hornes archery and found out they are makeing a 3 piece brush bow.  Well I ordered one.  52@28  RH 60". Bocote and cocobolo riser and maple core limbs with yew veneer.  Will send pics when I can.  Kinda gambled on it cause I have only shot a one piec brush bow and traditionalist.  Any one have any experience with the 3 piece brush bow.

I have both the 1 piece and the three piece. They are both great shooting bows, but I shoot the three piece noticeably better. I suppose the additional mass in the riser helps my wobbly bow arm stay still. My three piece is a 60 inch bow and it has more of a D shape to my eyes than the one piece.
I know you won't regret your order, but if you do, I might just need a backup!
