« on: January 21, 2009, 12:02:00 PM »
i've been readin alot about each of these bows over the last couple weeks. and i would love to have any of them. but, if ya had to choose ONE, which one would ya choose??

im leanin strongly toward the kanati. after readin rob tatoo's thread and lookin at the pics i think im in love. plus the price i feel is great as well.
keep in mind i havent ever shot any of these bows. im just going by looks and reviews.

I have shot both the Kanati and many diff. whisperstiks.  I think they are very different styles.  At least the whispersticks that I shot.  Both are very fine bows.  The Kanati I liked the forward style grip and the short limbs.  I remember whisperstiks to be longer bows.  But it was propbably 3 years back that I shot them.  My local shop had many in stock.  I think they still do.  I liked them.  I would go with the Kanati if it was me.  That is because I like short limbed bows.  I have a short draw.

The only one of the three I've had the opertunaty to shoot is the Kanati.  I own one now and it's one of my favorite "go to" bows.  I could easily see myself picking up another, I really appreciate the handle and the way it shoots.

That doesn't stop me from wanting to try the other two, however.   :D

I have never shot the Kanati, but I have two whisperstiks, one really
nice takedown that I was blessed enough to shoot 4 deer with this year. I have a 32'' draw shooting a 60'' bow and it is very smooth, fast, quiet, and doesn't stack. I'm sure it will be a favorite of mine for a long time.

Obviously, I love the Kanati! They are a great bow and a great buy. I haven't shot the others, so I have nothing positive or negative to say about them. I don't think you can go wrong with one of Jason's bows. Kanati all the way!

i'd go with the Holm-Made, chad makes excellent bows.

oh yeah did i mention i'm staying at his place in a few weeks for a bunny hunt? I do want a warm place to sleep  :)

Seriously though, he really does make great bows and won't sell anything less than perfect.

I am sure the other two are very nice, but I have only shot the Holm-Made. My Holm-Made has a Bow Bolt that makes it a two piece take down. It is very fast and accurate. It compares very well to my ACS CX and is half the price. I can highly recommend it. If the Whisperstik and Kanati are not offered with the Bow Bolt, and you travel with your bows, I think you would be happier with the Holm-Made.
