Widow Osage PASX

Onestringer, what are those woods? Is that all Osage??? the cover over the limb holes, what wood is that???

Onestringer, I hope you don't mind; but I just ordered that exact same bow yesterday. I saw your bow on another thread here and fell in love with that wood combo. Toby at Black Widow said you got some very special osage there which he could not duplicate. So I'm hoping it darkens naturally over time. I did get the the limb bolt overlays laser engraved with a deer and turkey though. Beautifull bow you have there. I'll post pics of mine in a few months. Jim

No, when I called the factory yesterday morning, Toby answered the phone. I asked if he knew Scott Hesterly. His response was "unfortunatley yes"; then a good laugh. He remebered building your bow last spring. I said that is the bow I want. And went from there. I'm excited that  I'll have in time for turkey hunting in May. My brother is a pretty good wood worker, and we plan on making a bow case out of the same woods the bow is made of. Jim
